Competition Rules and Guidelines (2018 Revision)
The Monticello Camera Club (MCC) follows the Electronic Image Division (EID) competition rules and guidelines as set by our parent Club, the Columbia Council of Camera Clubs (4C). Beginning with the 2018-2019 season, the Guidelines have been revised. Please be sure to review this article for all changes.
The Monticello Camera Club holds an EID contest monthly, on the third Tuesday.
All images will be displayed on the club website with recognition for advancing images.
IMAGES: File and Formatting
Entry is not limited to images created and/or modified digitally. Images may also be acquired and/or modified traditionally and the converted to electronic format (such as by digital scanning).
Images must be in .JPG format
NEW IMAGE SIZES
EID images may now be no larger than 1400px (long) by 1050px (tall) and may be up to 2048KB (2MB) in size. The 72 dpi/ppi remains unchanged.

The 4C's Board made an official vocab guideline change. The category of Creative has been changed to Altered Reality, which the 4C's has defined as
Depicts photographic subjects in a substantial departure from realism. This may be accomplished through control of content, the photographic process, or post-processing.
As such, file naming convention will change from C_Title_Artist to A_Title_Artist
Members may submit a total of 6 images in any class combination of the entrants choice
Please use the following file naming convention to identify your image(s)
For TRADITIONAL CLASS entries (T)
For CREATIVE CLASS entries (C)
For CATEGORY CLASS entries (G)
Please Note: There are no spaces in between words. Please capitalize each new word, and place an underscore between the Class Code, Image Title, and Photographer's Name.
